Today I read Deut. 5 and I keep listening to the Found by Hillsong United. I must remember that my identity is found in Him, who upholds me by His right hand. I am His, there is no one like Him. I don´t think there is a morning where I am not scared of the control which I can not possess. Nature, God is it´s own force, and the sun wakes me every day, so far away. I am made from dust and thrust into a herd, a number, to try and uphold what is in my heart, rather than what is in my flesh. But, can I really be a number when I am chosen by God and yet at the same burdened by the mass rejection of God, whom loves them more than they could ever understand, a love that penetrates our soul that demands such a love? There is an ancient, eternal love between the maker and His child, children of I Am.
I keep being reminded of how the silent hebraic letters in Yahweh signify that the unspeakable name of God is said in every breath we take, meaning that we require Him, our unconsciousness calls for Him. Only God could allow such a degree of selfishness that we pursue, in order to bring to such a point of surrender where we can catch a glimpse of His love. Not to cloy, but perhaps this can be seen when we witness a shooting star and see for a moment the power and vastness of His love.
